Wedding makeup:

Tips for your Special Day:

Even though wedding makeup is typically terribly easy and neutral, it’s one of the toughest makeup looks to form, since it has to be PERFECT. After all, it is your big day!

Makeup should last all day, through all the crying, hugging, kissing, eating and saltation.  You’ll probably need to get your makeup waterproof, lips to be kiss proof, and your skin makeup to be bombproof.  (I really suggest Model in a Bottle because it makes your makeup last many hours!)

Your goal is to bring out your best features- not to prove how well you apply your makeup. So keep it easy however pretty. Sometimes less is additional.

If you’re going get your makeup done by a professional makeup creator, be sure to inform him/her what you wish from your makeup. If you want one thing bolder, or some specific color, you should be able to catch on. It is in the end YOUR day, and you’re the one who gets to decide however your makeup appearance.

Don’t forget your decollete, if your dress shows it. A little quantity of soppy shimmer provides the ultimate bit to your look.

Remember that some foundations and/or powders look completely different in footage, since they reflect lightweight otherwise. If possible, get your makeup checked and photographed with a flash before the big day. Also, blend your foundation down the neck some to create positive your face doesn't look completely different from the remainder of your body.

If you’re getting any facial treatments, make positive to urge them many days before the marriage day. Sometimes skin will look irritated for the next few days once treatments, and you don’t need that kind of surprise!

Get  your brows plucked and shaped (possibly even dyed) before the wedding day. If you pluck them on your wedding day, your brows may look red, swollen and irritated.

If you’re going to wear contact lenses on your day, put the lenses on before applying your makeup.

Try not to stress an excessive amount of (easier aforesaid than done, I know!).  Stress may cause impurities on your skin. If  you have some impurities, do not pick at them because it makes them worse! additionally, put a clean slip on each night and drink lots of water (avoid sugars, excess milk, and carbonated beverages).  Your body and skin reflects what you eat, so get masses of veggies and fruits.

Some basic notes about wedding makeup…

Makeup that lasts:  Face primers:

Fills in pores and makes the skin look smoother. Makes the makeup last longer

HIDE IMPERFECTIONS:  CONCEALERS

Green neutralizes redness (rosacea, pimples, etc)
Yellow neutralizes blue (dark circles)
Lavender neutralizes yellowness
TIP: Apply colored concealers before foundation to get the simplest result.  For application techniques, see Marlena’s video on a way to Conceal Undereye Circles or How to Hide disease of the skin

PERFECT  SKIN:  FOUNDATIONS

Make positive foundation matches your skin tone, be sure to ascertain it in each natural lightweight and artificial lightweight
If possible, check out how your makeup base appearance in photos: will it seem lighter or darker than the remainder of your skin?
You can set the inspiration victimization powder – simply take care you don’t apply it an excessive amount of, so the result doesn’t look cakey. Preferably use semitransparent powder.
For foundation application techniques, check out Marlena’s video a way to Custom Mix your Foundation or  Face Routine

SHINE THE LIGHT:  ILLUMINATORS/ HIGHLIGHTERS

Doesn’t everyone need to shine on their day? To get that wedding day glow, apply highlighter to the tops of your cheekbones, near the tear ducts, and just underneath the brows.  Any more than that and you’ll be trying sort of a dance hall ball…. Keep the glitter and shimmer products to a minimum.

BLUSHING BRIDE: BLUSHES

To avoid looking too pale, use a subtle blush on the apple of your cheeks- it brings additional life to your face.  A universal flattering shade is a bang-up pink color…

SIT, STAY:   EYESHADOW PRIMERS

Use make-up primer to keep your eyeshadow in situ, even when you’re crying out of happiness. This will forestall creasing throughout the day.
*My favorite eye primer:   Tarte Natural Eye

CRY-BABY:   MASCARAS

Use waterproof mascara, so it won’t finish up on your cheeks if you happen to shed a tear (or a dozen). You don’t always have to use black mascara- for a additional natural look, brown mascara will be better option.
To see a way to apply mascara sort of a professional, check out Marlena’s video a way to Apply Mascara or a way to Curl your Lashes sort of a professional

THIS WILL LASH FOREVER:   FALSE LASHES

Easy approach to enhance your eyes while not victimization an excessive amount of makeup is to wear artificial lashes. If you are afraid that lash glue can leave you in hassle, you can get yourself lash extensions for the massive day.  The most natural looking lashes have AN invisible base like Ardell’s Invisbands

HUGS & KISSES :  LIPS

Choose a lasting lip color. If it doesn’t last, make positive it matches your groom’s outfit, because he’ll be the one carrying it eventually…  Lipstains work very well as they offer a pleasant color to the lips that you just want for footage, plus it lasts for hours.

Choose a lip liner the same color as your lipstick/ gloss. Lip liners prevent the lipstick from injury.
TIP: Apply lip liner to whole lips before applying lipstick. It makes the color last even longer.

Remember that the wedding day is meant to be YOUR (and your groom’s) special occasion, so if you need to possess theme wedding, purple eyeliner and orange wedding
